CDR welcomes credible information that improves accuracy. Corrections are distinguished from requests to alter an independent editorial view or remove accurate public information.
2. How to request a correction
Use Contact CDR and identify the page, disputed statement, proposed correction, supporting evidence and your relationship to the subject.
3. Assessment
CDR may review official sources, request further evidence, contact relevant parties and consider whether the issue is factual, interpretive, outdated or editorial.
4. Outcomes
A verified material error may be corrected, clarified or removed. Minor typographical changes may be made without a correction notice. A significant correction may be noted on the page.
5. Dealer updates
Dealers may supply updated factual information. CDR is not required to adopt promotional language, unverified claims or requested editorial conclusions.
6. Timing and escalation
We aim to acknowledge substantive requests within a reasonable period. Complex matters may take longer. Privacy complaints are handled under the Privacy Policy.
