1. Overview

Cookies are small files or identifiers stored by a browser. CDR may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, protect forms and understand usage.

2. Categories

Essential technologies support security, form handling, session continuity and core functions.

Preference technologies remember choices such as filters or display settings.

Analytics technologies help measure page views, dealer-profile views, outbound clicks, referrers and device categories.

Advertising or cross-site tracking technologies are not currently required for CDR’s core first-party reporting. If introduced, this policy and any consent controls will be updated.

3. Analytics

CDR uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC (USA), to measure page views, dealer-profile views, clicks to dealer websites, clicks that reveal a dealer phone number, traffic sources (including search, AI assistants, social and referrals) and device categories. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<container>) that persist for up to 13 months. Data is processed by Google and may be stored in the United States. We have disabled Google Signals, advertising personalisation and remarketing. You can opt out using Google’s browser opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

4. Managing cookies

Users can remove or block cookies through browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect some functions. Where a consent control is provided, choices can be changed through that control.

5. Third parties

External services, embedded content and dealer websites may set their own cookies. Their practices are governed by their own policies.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when technologies change. Questions can be submitted through Contact CDR.
